reinkommen (2022)

During our residency at ada Studio (Berlin), Agathe Vincent and I dealt with the themes: emancipation, restraint, and finding our voice and purpose as young female dance artists. Together, we developed a movement language in common using improvisation tools and implementing ideas to engage with the audience. We fed this movement research with conversations by sharing artistic and personal experiences we had in the last years. This open studio happened on 7 July 2022 after a month of residency at ada Studio.

‘The whole piece is playing on this duality, the inner and outer forces that control, and the ways to set free, by escaping, by playing with them and subverting them. The performance develops into a succession of diverse scenes accompanied by music where the two performers’ roles to each other and to the objects shift and rebuild constantly.’
